Rachel Nesnevich is an aerialist, hula hooper, dancer, and lifelong performer.

Rachel has toured both internationally and across the United States, but you can usually find her moving and grooving in Chicago, IL. She is currently a cast member in Brave Space directed by Shayna Swanson, and had the honor of performing at the 2023 Montréal Complètement Cirque, as well as the 2022 and 2023 Edinburgh Fringe Festival. In Chicago, you can catch her delighting guests as a resident aerialist at Carnivale Chicago, as a rotating cast member in Sanctuary Cabaret, and as a regular performer at clubs, shows and private events throughout the city.

Rachel's work combines her extensive dance training with high level circus skills to create pieces that are musically driven, intricately crafted, and straight from the heart. She values vulnerability, specificity, whimsy, and a flexed foot.

Rachel began her dance training at four years old with recreational ballet classes and from her first recital, she couldn't stay away from the stage. She continued her dance education in her time at Oberlin College, where she was first introduced to circus and aerial arts. Upon graduating, Rachel had the pleasure of dancing with Aerial Dance Chicago under direction of Chloe Jensen. She is a graduate of Aloft Circus Art's Full Time Professional Training program, where she had extensive training in aerial arts and hula hoops.
